AwanBiru Technology Berhad's (Awantec) was nominated as the winner of Minority Shareholders Watch Group’s (MSWG) Excellence Award for Corporate Governance (CG) Disclosure in the category of Market Cap below RM100 Million.
The recognition was given based on MSWG’s assessment of Awantec’s CG disclosure as one of Malaysian public listed companies, with ASEAN CG Scorecard as a metric.
Aspiring to be consistent with the current CG practices and to better the Group with more emerging practices in years to come, Dr. Abu Hasan Ismail, President and Group Chief Executive Officer of Awantec, expressed the Group’s commitment in maintaining good Corporate Governance.
