AWANBIRU TECHNOLOGY BERHAD ("AWANTEC" OR "THE COMPANY") - CLOUD FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF MALAYSIA WITH GOOGLE CLOUD MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. AND AWANTEC SYSTEMS SDN. BHD.

We refer to our previous announcement dated 2 January 2025 in relation to the extension of the Cloud Framework Agreement originally executed on 17 March 2022 (“CFA 1.0”) between the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Awantec Systems Sdn. Bhd., the Government of Malaysia (as represented by MAMPU), and Google Cloud Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.

Pursuant thereto, and as previously announced on 2 January 2025, CFA 1.0, which had been extended up to 31 December 2025, has been further extended by the Government of Malaysia, acting through the Ministry of Digital.

This further extension is for an additional period of six (6) months, effective from 1 January 2026 to 30 June 2026, or until the availability of Cloud Framework Agreement 2.0 (“CFA 2.0”), whichever comes earlier.

This further extension reflects the continued collaboration among the parties in supporting the Government of Malaysia’s cloud adoption initiatives and ensuring continuity of cloud infrastructure and services.
