From Conversation to Action: Building the Next Generation of Public Service Agents

AI Immersion Day 2.0 

In August 2025, Awantec successfully launched its first AI Immersion Day, spearheading the initial drive to identify critical public sector challenges and conceptualise breakthrough ideas. 

Building on this momentum, Awantec recently hosted AI Immersion Day 2.0, organised in collaboration with Google Malaysia and Jabatan Digital Negara (JDN), aimed to transform those issues and initial concepts into solutions powered by the latest Google Agentic AI, which is Gemini Enterprise.

The event brought together 22 participants from various government agencies to generate projects that are focused on boosting operational efficiency. 

Key Highlights

The intensive session delivered valuable insights that aligned closely with the primary objectives of the initiative. The following points summarise the highlights of the session:

• The Evolution of Google Agentic AI: A comprehensive overview and demonstrations of Google Agentic AI capabilities.

• AI as a Service (AIaaS) Framework: A special session by JDN explaining an initiative for sandbox application across 5 cloud providers, including Google.

• Collaborative Sharing Sessions: Interactive segments focused on exchanging insights and the resolutions of operational issues.

No Challenges Go Unnoticed

The sharing session has managed to bring greater and deeper understanding of what each agency is facing, effectively bridging the gap between existing operational issues and the innovative potentials of Agentic AI. 

During the session, participants representing each government agency were able to identify specific pain points, and Awantec has managed to deliver brief explanations and effective Agentic AI solutions designed to address these unique pain points.
