Overview
The ability to make data-driven decisions is essential for success in today's world. This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of data analysis, providing a comprehensive overview of the concepts and techniques used to gather, process, and analyze data.
In this course, students will learn the basics of statistics and probability, including data collection and sampling, descriptive statistics, and inferential statistics. They will also learn how to visualize data using charts and graphs, and how to use statistical software such as Excel and R.
Throughout the course, students will apply these concepts and techniques to real-world data sets, developing skills in data cleaning, data wrangling, and exploratory data analysis. They will also learn about data visualization techniques, including the use of tools like Tableau and Power BI.
By the end of this course, students will have a solid foundation in the fundamentals of data analysis, and will be able to apply these skills to real-world data sets to gain insights and make data-driven decisions.
