Overview
The Introduction to SQL course is designed to provide participants with a foundational understanding of SQL, or Structured Query Language, which is the standard language used to manage and manipulate relational databases. Through this course, students will learn the basics of SQL syntax and how to write and execute SQL statements to retrieve and modify data stored in a database.
The course covers various topics, including creating and modifying tables, using basic SQL commands such as SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE, and using advanced SQL queries to filter sort, and aggregate data. Participants will also learn about the various data types used in SQL and how to use joins and subqueries to combine data from multiple tables.
Throughout the course, participants can work with real-world datasets and practice writing SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data. By the end of the course, participants will have a solid understanding of SQL syntax and the ability to apply this knowledge to manage and manipulate data stored in relational databases.
