Overview
Internet of Things (IoT) is a popular technology that connects a variety of devices and sensors to the internet, allowing them to communicate and interact with each other. This course is designed to provide participants with a practical introduction to IoT using Arduino, an open-source electronic prototyping platform.
Throughout the course, participants will learn about the basic concepts of IoT, how to use the Arduino board to build and program various IoT devices, and how to integrate them with other technologies such as cloud computing and mobile applications.
The course will cover the following topics:
Introduction to IoT and Arduino
Building and programming sensors and actuators using Arduino
Collecting and transmitting data using Arduino and IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT)
Integration with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT)
Mobile app development for IoT using Arduino and Bluetooth technology
Security and privacy considerations in IoT applications
By the end of the course, participants will have gained hands-on experience in building and programming IoT devices using Arduino, and will have a solid understanding of the key concepts and technologies involved in IoT.
Prerequisites
A general understanding of electronics and Arduino language (based on C/C++)
