Overview
This course is designed for professionals who are interested in learning R programming language for data science applications. The course covers the fundamentals of R programming, data structures, data manipulation, data visualization, and statistical analysis using R.
Participants will learn how to write R code to import, clean, and manipulate data, and to create visualizations and models for data analysis. The course also covers best practices for reproducible research and report generation using R Markdown.
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
-Understand the basics of R programming language and its ecosystem
-Work with data frames, vectors, matrices, and lists in R
-Clean and transform data using dplyr and tidyr packages
-Visualize data using ggplot2 package
-Perform statistical analysis using R packages such as stats and lme4
-Use R Markdown to generate reports and presentations
The course includes hands-on exercises and assignments to reinforce the concepts learned in the class. Participants will have access to a virtual environment with R and RStudio installed to complete the exercises.
