Dr. Abu is currently the Founder and Strategic Advisor of Prestariang Berhad (now AwanBiru Technology Berhad). Since the Company's inception in 2003, Dr Abu has been instrumental in overseeing the financial and strategic growth of the company - Forming numerous successful partnerships with global ICT organisations such as Google, Zoom, SAP, Autodesk and Adobe to name a few.

Under Dr. Abu's stewardship, Awantec has evolved from being a leading ICT Training & Certification and Software License Distribution & Management, to a Technology & Talent Platform Innovator in Malaysia. Graduated and trained as an architect, he is a professor turned entrepreneur with a vision to build a sustainable global business.

To unlock the value of Prestariang, Dr Abu took the company public in 2011, leading AwanBiru Technology Berhad into a cloud-pivoted Digital Transformer with the motto of Doing Well by Doing Good as we see it today.
