Cyberjaya, 28 December 2020 – AwanBiru Technology Berhad (Awantec), formerly known as Prestariang Berhad, will be traded and quoted on the main board of Bursa Malaysia under the new stock name “AWANTEC” effective from 9.00am, 29 December 2020.
Prestariang Berhad, a leading Technology and Talent Platform innovator founded since 2003 and listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia in 2011 took on a New Corporate Identity as Awantec after a Rebranding exercise to align its overall transformation plan advancing from being a technology and talent company to a digital transformer with a future that pivots on digitalisation.

Over the past 12 months, the Company has been rebuilding its core business in technology and talent businesses with new product offerings and services. “The need for Multi-Cloud Management Services and System Integration are more pertinent in today’s market place hence expanding our service from just managing licensing to Cloud services will add value to our business. We have also ventured deeper into employability market with full life cycle talent management that includes profiling, training, certification and placement services. This provides a holistic talent management experience with lifelong learning opportunities to reskill and upskill job seekers.”, added Dr. Abu.
Awantec will give rise to the Company’s effort pivoting into providing multi-cloud management services and lifelong learning talent lifecycle to achieve the digitalisation of Malaysia. This effort has already resulted in a recent contract award valued at approximately RM50 million to which the Company will develop and implement the Selangor Kerjaya Program set to provide skills training and job placement for 10,000 job seeking Malaysians residing in Selangor
