Awantec offers its e-Learning Courses on HRD CORP’S e-LATiH

Skillsoft Certification Training Courses to be made available on e-LATiH.

Cyberjaya, 5 May 2023 – Awanbiru Technology Berhad (Awantec), a leading technology and talent digitalisation enabler is offering its training courses on e-LATiH, the Human Resource Development Corporation's (HRD Corp) digital learning platform.

The courses will be a pathway towards obtaining Skillsoft Certification. It also aims to provide affordable and accessible upskilling opportunities to the nation's workforce.

Awantec is working in partnership with Skillsoft, a widely recognised global leader in the e-learning industry which offers a variety of engaging and effective learning experiences, including interactive courses, videos, books, and simulations. Awantec was awarded Skillsoft’s “APAC Partner of the Year award 2022” in recognition of Awantec’s commitment and success in delivering upskilling programs.

Skillsoft’s Percipio platform allows Awantec to offer self-paced learning designed for entrepreneurs, digital marketers, project managers, developers, and human resource professionals at an affordable cost for all industry sectors with its emerging roles and skills identified based on global economic needs. The programs are suitable for both SMEs and large organisations, allowing them to manage, monitor, and track employee upskilling progress.

"Offering our training courses on HRD Corp e-LATiH represents a major milestone for Awantec and Skillsoft, as it opens up new avenues for growth and provides us with a platform to reach out to a wider audience, particularly the 74,000 HRD Corp registered SMEs with over 1.8 million employees. Companies or organisations who frequently face challenges due to affordability or the inability to release employees for training will be given the opportunity to be upskilled using their existing levy contribution for e-learning," said Dato' Syed Naqiz Shahabuddin, Chairman of Awantec.

"We are committed to democratising the learning rights of every Malaysian, giving them equal access to reskill, upskill, and increase their productivity. Our partnership with Skillsoft will enable us to provide in-depth and engaging learning experiences with content endorsed by global industry bodies like Comptia and PMP”, added the Chairman.

This effort will provide Awantec and Skillsoft an opportunity to make inroads into the commercial training market and reach out to SMEs. With this access to e-learning, SMEs can now upskill their employees using their existing levy contribution, leading to increased productivity and competitiveness.

Awantec remains committed to investing in people, partners, products, and services to continue its growth and remains optimistic about the future of e-learning in Malaysia. With the increasing demand for upskilling and reskilling opportunities, high-quality and accessible digital learning programs will play a key role in shaping the future of the workforce in our country.
