  • Agency Briefing and CEP Redemption Day: Maximising Government Return of Investment

    Putrajaya – Prestariang Berhad, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Prestariang Systems Sdn Bhd collaborated with Ministry of Finance to hold Sesi Penerangan Kepada Agensi Pengguna and Competency Enhancement Program (CEP) Redemption Day, in maximising Government’s yield via Master Licensing Agreement (MLA) central procurement contract. Playing its role as a Leading Talent and Technology Innovator, Prestariang has been taking initiatives after another, with CEP Redemption Day being the latest, as a proof of the Company’s dedication in improving civil servants, and its tenacity in providing them with the latest technology to drive digital transformation in the public sector. Doing their part in further expanding Government’s ROI, Prestariang had lined up various offerings, both existing and new in order to help all government agencies to plan their CEP redemption and gain the most out of them. The Company offers, among others, CEP trainings, e-learning, hardware and Microsoft Services to be redeemed by MLA subscribers. Briefings and consultations were also given to ease the agencies in determining the best-suited offerings for them to redeem using their CEP fund. The programme was held at the Main Hall, Ministry of Finance Complex and officiated by Dato’ Mohd Zafir Bin Ibrahim, Deputy Division Secretary (Transformation Section, Corporate Strategy Division) Ministry of Finance. Quoting Dato' Mohd Zafir, "Government has managed to obtain a reinvestment as much as RM62.1 million in the form of CEP fund. From that amount, RM54.2 million has been utilised to redeem various trainings, involving participations from more than 25 thousand Government officials". "Throughout the execution period up till now, MLA has enabled Government to save as much as 38%, which is equivalent to RM158.8 million", he added. Adding colours to the event, Hajah Rozita Binti Haji Ali, Head of Section, Ministry of Finance; Margaret Wong, Intellectual Property Licensing Manager, Microsoft; Baldesh Singh A/L Manmohan Singh, Chief Operating Officer, Prestariang Berhad; and Hafiza Anom Binti Abdul Hamid, Group Director, Sales and Marketing, Prestariang Berhad; made their appearances, along with more than 200 other guests from various Government agencies. MLA is an initiative by Ministry of Finance, in collaboration with Prestariang and Microsoft. It is a Microsoft centralised procurement contract where Prestariang has been appointed as a sole distributor for all Government departments and agencies including state government.

  • Akademi Percukaian Malaysia and Prestariang Officiate APM Digital Learning Hub

    Akademi Percukaian Malaysia (APM) and Leading Technology and Talent Innovator, Prestariang Berhad, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Prestariang Systems Sdn Bhd (PSSB), set the APM Digital Learning Hub in motion via a launch ceremony, today at Klana Beach Resort, Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. The initiative aims for a continuous development of Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN) human resources, via quality e-learning that is suitable with today’s demand – In line with APM’s aspiration to continuously develop sustainable pool of professionals and experts for LHDN. The APM Digital Learning Hub is outlined in the ID Access for Skillsoft E-learning System Procurement Contract for APM Bangi. The contract was awarded by LHDN to PSSB on 26 November 2019. It spans for a period of three years, from December 2019 until November 2022, at an estimated value of RM 250,000. The launch was attended by Tuan Syed Hisham Bin Syed Mansor, Director of APM, Ms Nor Azizan Binti Adnan, Deputy Director of APM, Mr Wan Zulkifli Bin Wan Ali, Director of Pusat Latihan Teknologi Maklumat, Mdm Hafiza Anom Binti Abdul Hamid, Group Director, Sales and Marketing of Prestariang along with few other APM directors and executives from LHDN. The APM Digital Learning Hub unveils modern functions that are simple and intuitive – specifically designed to allow APM learners to discover and master various contents in directing their learning direction independently. “Leveraging on the highly engaging contents from hundreds of channels that are constantly updated, APM Digital Learning Hub will bring service excellence of LHDN officers, in both collecting and managing the nation’s direct tax to a whole new level”, says Mdm Hafiza Anom Binti Abdul Hamid in her opening note. As a company, Prestariang is affixed to realising APM’s aspiration, in propelling the competency of LHDN’s officers to the next level via the execution of this initiative.

  • Prestariang Berhad 9th Annual General Meeting

    Cyberjaya – Prestariang held its ninth Annual General Meeting (AGM) at University Malaysia of Computer Science and Engineering (UNIMY), Cyberjaya, Selangor. The AGM was attended by guests, shareholders and proxies. The meeting which commenced at 10.00 a.m. witnessed exchanges and insightful sharing among the shareholders, Board of Directors and Management. Prestariang Berhad’s President / Group Chief Executive Officer, Dr Abu Hasan Ismail took the opportunity to present the Group’s position and its way forward. The AGM went smoothly with all the proposed resolutions set out in the Notice of Ninth AGM were carried by the way of poll voting.

  • Finance Ministry and Prestariang Officiate MLA 3.0 Portal, CEP Mobile App and T.A.L.C

    Technology and Talent Platform Innovator, Prestariang Berhad (Prestariang or the Group), through its wholly owned subsidiary Prestariang Systems Sdn Bhd (PSSB), unveiled three components of the products and services outlined in its Master Licensing Agreement (MLA) 3.0 with the Finance Ministry in an official launch ceremony today held at the Ministry of Finance (MOF) in Putrajaya. The MLA 3.0 was signed with the Government of Malaysia for Prestariang as the sole Microsoft Licensing Solutions Provider (LSP) for all Government Agencies and Institut Latihan Awam (ILA) in Malaysia from 1 February 2018. It is an extension and renewal of the MLA 2.0 for a period of three (3) years until 31 January 2021 at an estimated total value of RM222,600,000/-. The scope includes expanded clientele with ILA as its new customer base and new value-added services, among others; access to tips and tricks, MLA web portal and mobile application, software asset management workshop, innovation and certification, Microsoft-certified community and Chief Information Officer (CIO) forums. Today’s launch focused on three initiatives that Prestariang has specifically designed for the Finance Ministry in its effort to embrace the modern workplace as well as to encourage digital transformation amongst its staff. The launch was attended by Yang Berhormat Tuan Lim Guan Eng, Finance Minister; Yang Berbahagia Tan Sri Ahmad Badri Mohd Zahir, Chief Secretary to the Treasury; Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Zamzuri Bin Abdul Aziz, Secretary of the Government Procurement Division; Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Mohd Zafir Bin Ibrahim, Deputy Secretary of the Government Procurement Division – TSK (K); Yang Berbahagia Dr Abu Hasan Bin Ismail, President/Group CEO of Prestariang Berhad. The three components that were unveiled today were the MLA Web Portal, Competency Enhancement Program (CEP) mobile app, and the Treasury Active Learning Centre (T.A.L.C). The MLA 3.0 also represents Prestariang’s dedication to help the Government in creating a more competent workforce for the nation in four key focus areas:- Upskilling and reskilling civil servants to improve their performance; accessibility to state of the art technology; providing best and latest hardware and last but not least; maximising return of investment for the Government. This is in line with the company’s role as a leading Technology and Talent Platform innovator whereby it encourages proficiency and capability via the use of technology to enable talent to move forward and embrace change as dictated by the Industrial Revolution 4.0. “These reforms will help strengthen the competency of civil servants as they assimilate themselves with the latest technology, which is in line with the Competency Enhancement Program Strategic Plan developed by MOF to drive the Government’s Digital Transformation agenda. Our role as the appointed partner enables us to provide Microsoft training, products and services as the ones launched today,” says Dr Abu Hasan Bin Ismail. The MLA Web Portal revealed a new and improved design while the CEP mobile app enables all public sector staff to access the services and facilities available to them at anytime and anywhere to perform their tasks more effectively. Using the CEP app at their convenience, users can sign up for training and certification as well as get in touch with the dedicated Helpdesk and enrol for seminars and workshops. Meanwhile T.A.L.C enhances both initiatives with its Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) efforts bound to offer a new working experience for government employees to adapt themselves to the modern workplace. “From the first point of our engagement with the Finance Ministry, we remain committed in supporting the Government’s aspiration to deliver digitally based services in line with the 11th Malaysian Plan. All three initiatives and four key focus areas reflect our commitment and efforts with this aspiration to improving and enhance all the 1.8 million civil servants in the country,” says Dr Abu Hasan Bin Ismail.
