  • Awantec seals RM294 mil deal as REDtone engineering’s tech partner to provide cloud computing solutions and services for the government’s MyGovUC 3.0 project

    CYBERJAYA, 13th February 2024 - AwanBiru Technology Berhad (“Awantec”), the parent company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Awantec Systems Sdn Bhd (“ASSB”), has officially entered into a service agreement with REDtone Engineering & Network Services Sdn Bhd (REDtone). This strategic collaboration marks a significant milestone for Awantec as the sole Managed Service Provider (MSP) for Google Cloud in Malaysia under the government’s Cloud Framework Agreement (CFA). The service agreement is valued at RM294.27 million and spans a duration of 57.5 months, commencing on February 14th, 2024, and concluding on November 30th, 2028. This collaboration with REDtone is specifically to support the Malaysian government's unified communication and collaboration project, MyGovUC3.0. Awantec will be providing Cloud computing solutions and services which includes products such as Google Workspace Enterprise and Google Cloud Platform. MyGovUC 3.0 is a seamless continuation of the highly successful MyGovUC 2.0 project to increase the productivity and quality of public service delivery.
